Spent two weeks drawing office and factory workers at RPC in Heanor, as a little light relief from their Health & Safety training. Office and workplace caricatures can be a fun incentive or reward, raising spirits and smiles at work. I offer mid-week discounts to encourage corporate clients to book me for their workers, so join in the fun and get me along to your office now!
Spent two days in central London at Alexandra Palace, drawing the tattooed masses at the Great British Tattoo Show. A regular gig for Skin Deep magazine, I look forward to this spectacle every year and there are always some great characters there.
Weekend of socializing and ink slinging at the Doncaster Tattoo Convention “Tattoo Jam” which saw hundreds of well inked punters through the doors over three days, many of whom were happy to sit for me and be lampooned! Always a pleasure to draw fellow artists and many of my caricatures were of tattooists, to hang in their studios and some even had them tattoo’d on their skin!
Skin Deep once again asked me to entertain the crowds at their biggest tattoo convention at Alexandra Palace this year. I had my own caricature stand, selling caricature prints, postcards and T-shirts, but mostly drawing the crowds of tattooed people, who gathered to watch me draw my magic… in my kilt!
Two days of creative, colourful characters, captured on my drawing pad and by the photographic eye of Candy Morrigan. Had some great reveals and wonderful audience appreciation, as I rattled off dozens of caricatures to their delight. Looking forward to next year.
