Leicester Mercury caricature exhibition

George’s first full exhibition of caricatures drew some local attention and earned him a full page in the local newspaper. Leicester Mercury ran a full page article, featuring caricatures and photos from George’s exhibition, titled “Spot On @ The Movies”. The exhibition featured a small selection of iconic movie posters, in caricature form, taken from george’s caricature collection which displys George’s passion for both movies and caricatures. The exhibition was held in LCB Depot, then the Y Theatre, as part of Leicester’s Comedy Festival.

In July 2002 I attended the closing party for Big Brother 3, held in a night club in central London, where I drew all the contestants and met some great characters and lookalikes, including Delboy and Patsy & Eddie from Ab Fab! The following day I realised the photos from the event were in the national papers and loo whose artwork was behind the bar?!
